My Holiday Tabletop Decor
I shop at Kmart fairly often but had not checked it out in recent years for holiday related purchases. I had no idea there was an entire section devoted to holiday decorations. It was huge and impressive. Pweezy's eyes grew larger each time he saw a blow up decoration or candy display. It was a pretty fun shopping trip.
Since Pweezy is old enough to understand some of the concepts of the holidays I am extra excited for the season. We had a blast decorating for Halloween so I knew he would be happy to help me pick out a nice arrangement for our table. We browsed aisle after aisle picking up fun odds and ends such as santa hats and snow in a bag until we came upon the perfect centerpiece.
I loved this festive and classic centerpiece. You can see a similar one on the Kmart site. It was the perfect size and an excellent price. We then found this three piece poinsettia stem set to go with the center piece. Tea lights and votives were located in the same area as the holiday tableware decorations which was very convenient. This Jaclyn Smith runner was the perfect accessory for the centerpiece and stems.
Kmart offered a variety of fresh poinsettias in various sizes. I grabbed two small ones for the table and two large plants for the front door. I finished my trip with a reasonably priced 200 count set of white lights. They weren't for the table but I couldn't pass up the price.
One of my favorite things about shopping at Kmart is the variety they offer. I visit other big box stores as well but I seem to find a very different assortment at Kmart. I like comparison shopping when time allows and am usually pleasantly surprised to find some really surprisingly fabulous stuff at Kmart when I visit.
Visit the Kmart Holiday site. There is a current free shipping for orders over $49.99 offer, select Christmas items are 50%, and much more. An even better idea is to check out your local Kmart store. If you haven't visited recently you might be pleasantly surprised by the large holiday selection.
